Sherief is a Director at IMPROVED Corporate Finance. He started at the firm when it was founded in 2014 – being part of the founding team – and has gained a reputation for his skilful handling of cross-border M&A, private equity and growth financing transactions across the Technology, Energy, and Mobility sectors. Sherief is an M&A professional and a TEM sector specialist. He remains close to the market dynamics of these sectors, enabling him to provide unique insights to clients. Sherief has a proven cross-border M&A track record having executed complex transactions in over 15 countries across Europe, the US and Asia. Throughout his career, he has advised several high-profile growth companies including Viriciti, Wallbox, Freewire, Pod Point, ubitricity, OneFit, unu motors, New Motion and Allego. These cases involved raising growth capital, M&A and equity capital market transactions. Sherief’s strong work ethic and dedication to his clients and partners has been recognised since his early years, being nominated as the Young M&A Talent of the year by the Dutch M&A Community in 2017. Sherief holds a Master’s of Science degree in Financial Management from Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. In his youth, Sherief played football at the highest levels in the Netherlands. He now enjoys cycling and boxing. His approach to high-performance sport naturally translates into his project management style, and his ambition mirrors his admiration towards innovative entrepreneurs and high-growth companies.
