Dominique Houde is a Partner at IMPROVED Corporate Finance, focusing on the fast-growing Mobility and Energy Transition sectors. Having led on multiple high-profile M&A and capital raise transactions, Dominique brings a unique perspective, having gained experience in investment banking, venture capital, and leading growth companies in the sector. Dominique has worked in Europe and the United States. Dominique’s strong interest and mission over the years has been to bring institutional and large-scale capital into entrepreneurial growth companies as they tackle the trillion-dollar opportunity of sustainable transportation. Such expertise has been invaluable to recent cross-border transactions. Dominique brings over 20 years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions advisory. He spent a significant amount of his career working for top-tier global banks such as Merrill Lynch and ABN AMRO / the Royal Bank of Scotland, where he headed their Global Automotive practice for all key products, including M&A, ECM and Debt. In 2013, Dominique co-founded Silicon Valley-based Autotech Ventures, the first independent automotive technology venture capital fund globally. Prior to joining IMPROVED, Dominique spent several years in senior management roles leading technology mobility growth companies, including California-based ChargePoint, where he was Vice-President, and POD Point as CFO and a board member. He was also Director of Corporate Finance at Lotus Cars. Dominique leads the firm’s UK operations from the London office, where he is based with his two children.
