Randall Wooster Bio

Randall E. Wooster is the Co-Founder and CEO of Imperial Capital, LLC, a nationally recognized full-service investment bank offering capital markets and advisory services, institutional sales and trading, and research capabilities to companies and institutional investors. Prior to co-founding Imperial Capital, LLC in 1997, Mr. Wooster was a Managing Director at its predecessor firm where he managed the sales and trading group. Previously, he was the head trader for Canyon Partners, Inc., an institutional investment advisor, in Los Angeles. Mr. Wooster began his career in banking as a trader and analyst for R. D. Smith & Co., a firm that pioneered investing in distressed securities. Mr. Wooster had been with the Tax Department of Arthur Andersen & Co. and was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in New York State. Mr. Wooster received a B.S. in Accounting and Economics from New York University and an M.B.A. from Duke University.
