Kevin Grant Bio

Kevin Grant joined Hovde Group in 2017 as Chief Compliance Officer and is based in the firm’s McLean, Virginia office. Prior to joining Hovde, Mr. Grant worked at FBR Capital Markets where he oversaw the compliance program for the firm’s Equity Sales & Trading Department. Prior to working at FBR, he worked at FINRA in the Market Regulation Department. Mr. Grant, a native of Rochester, NY, earned his MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and his undergraduate degree from SUNY Geneseo. He is licensed with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and holds the following licenses: Series 7 and 24. Mr. Grant is married with three children, and resides in the Washington, DC area.
