Mark Timperman is a Managing Director and Head of Asset Management in the investment banking group at Hovde Group and is based in the firm’s Charlotte office. Prior to joining Hovde, he was head of the Asset Management investment banking team at Wells Fargo Securities. He has over 20 years of experience providing M&A advisory, corporate finance and capital markets services to both traditional and alternative asset managers, wealth managers, broker-dealers and market structure companies. Mark has worked on complex multi-party transactions, minority recapitalizations and specialized capital raising along with traditional advisory services and capital markets. Mark earned his B.A. from Duke University and his M.B.A. from the Darden School at the University of Virginia. He resides in Charlotte with his wife and three children.
