Mr. Pake joined Hovde’s Investment Banking Group as a Managing Director in 2012 and is based in the firm’s Los Angeles, CA office. He is responsible for strategic advisory assignments for banks and thrifts, including mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions. Mr. Pake has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry and has closed over 100 transactions with a combined value of over $11 billion during his career. Transactional experience includes completed assignments for community banks and thrifts, specialty finance and insurance companies. Prior to joining Hovde, Mr. Pake spent 10 years in the Financial Services Investment Banking Group at BB&T Capital Markets where he was a Senior Vice President. Mr. Pake holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University.
