John Eubanks Bio

Mr. Eubanks is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Services Group. He has spent nearly two decades in the financial services industry and has experience in M&A, private wealth management, and institutional consulting. Mr. Eubanks is based in the firm’s Atlanta office. Previously, Mr. Eubanks was a Managing Director at Park Sutton Advisors, a Waller Helms Company, prior to Houlihan Lokey’s acquisition of Waller Helms Advisors in 2024. Before that, he founded Elko Creek Capital, an M&A advisory firm providing transaction advisory and strategic advisory services to privately held companies. Earlier, Mr. Eubanks was a Partner at Patton Albertson & Miller, LLC, a fee-only wealth management firm with locations in Atlanta and Macon, Georgia, where he served on the management team and investment committee while leading a wealth management team. During his tenure at Patton Albertson & Miller, the firm was acquired by Focus Financial Partners. Mr. Eubanks also served as Director of Business Development and launched the firm’s business brokerage and M&A advisory services. He began his career as a Financial Advisor and Analyst on institutional consulting teams at Merrill Lynch and Wachovia Securities. Mr. Eubanks holds a B.A. in Financial Planning from the University of Georgia. He is a CFP practitioner.
