Mr. Levine is Global Head of Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Institutions Group and a member of the firm’s Management Committee. He has more than 35 years of investment banking experience in financial services, involving more than 175 corporate transactions, with a focus on the mortgage finance industry. He is based in the firm’s Miami office. Previously, Mr. Levine was a partner and board member of Milestone Advisors, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2012. Mr. Levine covers mortgage finance companies and REITs nationally as well as depositories in Florida and the Southeast U.S., where he assists clients in mergers and acquisitions and capital markets initiatives. One of the most active advisors in the mortgage banking M&A industry, Mr. Levine has completed more than 175 corporate transactions in his career and is a frequent lecturer and author in the financial services and mortgage industry. Representative clients include Apollo Bank, Apollo Commercial Real Estate Finance, Bayview Financial, Blackstone, CIT Bank, First Horizon Bank, Freddie Mac, MetLife, Mr. Cooper Group, New York Mortgage Trust, Royal Bank of Canada, TIAA-CREF, and Wells Fargo Home Loans. Mr. Levine also has specific experience in the valuation and sale of related financial assets, such as loans and mortgage servicing rights. Mr. Levine holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Florida.
