Mr. Wiebe is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Technology Group. He is based in the firm's Boston office. Previously, Mr. Wiebe was a Managing Director at MVP Capital, an independent advisory firm that provides a range of advisory services to clients in the technology, media, and telecommunications sector, prior to its acquisition by Houlihan Lokey in 2020. He focused on communications infrastructure companies, to which he provided M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory services. Prior to joining MVP Capital, Mr. Wiebe co-founded BIA Capital Strategies, a communications-focused investment bank, and BIA Digital Partners, a mezzanine-focused fund that invested in 37 media-, telecommunications-, and information-based businesses. Before that, he was a Vice President at BNY Mellon, where he provided acquisition finance services to technology companies in the Washington region. Previously, Mr. Wiebe served in the Workout Group at American Security Bank (now Bank of America), where he protected the bank’s interest in problem loans, and also worked in its Communications Industries lending group. Mr. Wiebe holds a B.A. with distinction from Cornell University as a Cornell National Scholar. He recently served as Chairman of the Suburban Hospital Board of Trustees in Bethesda, Maryland, and was a member of the Johns Hopkins Medicine Board of Trustees.
