Mr. Dunlop is a Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Houlihan Lokey’s Capital Markets Group. His primary responsibilities include working with the firm’s clients to raise debt and equity capital to support general corporate purposes, refinancings, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, growth capital, restructurings, and acquisitions. He has more than 17 years of experience working on debt and equity financing transactions across the capital structure and was recognized by The M&A Advisor as the “2011 Financing Dealmaker of the Year.” Mr. Dunlop is based in the firm’s New York office. Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Dunlop was an investment professional at Silver Point Capital, where he was a senior member of Global Capital Markets, focused on sourcing and structuring direct investment opportunities, syndicating credit exposure, and managing financial institution relationships. Prior to joining Silver Point Capital, Mr. Dunlop was a Vice President in Global Fixed Income at Citigroup, where he was focused on structuring asset-based loans, restructurings, DIP transactions, and exit financing in a variety of industries. Mr. Dunlop received a B.A. from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA with honors in Finance from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. He holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst.
