Mr. Raskin is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group. He specializes in financial restructuring, special situations, liability management, and structured financings. Mr. Raskin has advised on transactions valued in excess of $75 billion and his experience spans numerous industries, including TMT, education, retail, healthcare, government services, and others. He is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Mr. Raskin has advised clients on a range of in-court and out-of-court transactions. His notable engagements include Dex Media, Frontier Communications, GTT Communications, Getty Images, Intelsat, MachineZone, Nextel, Skillsoft, Sungard, Travelport, THQ, Windstream, Cengage, Edmentum, EDMC, Houghton Mifflin, Fullbeauty, General Nutrition Corp., Gibson Guitar, Guitar Center, Lucky Brands, TotesIsotoner, Ameritox, Angiotech, KV Pharmaceutical, M*Modal, RuralMetro, Outcome Health, Century Aluminum, Constellis, PSAV, and Sequa. Mr. Raskin has also spoken on a number of panels on various restructuring topics. He was recognized in the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Leaders of Influence: Investment Bankers 2021. Mr. Raskin has been with the firm for more than a decade. Before joining Houlihan Lokey, he was a Vice President of Cerberus Capital/Ableco Finance, where he was responsible for underwriting, structuring, and monitoring debt investments. Before that, Mr. Raskin was an Associate Director of UBS Investment Bank, where he was responsible for analyzing and executing leveraged finance and M&A transactions. Mr. Raskin also previously worked in Houlihan Lokey’s Corporate Finance business. Mr. Raskin holds a B.S., magna cum laude, from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
