Bio

Grant Casteel is a Director in Houlihan Capital’s Valuation and Financial Advisory Group, where he performs valuations for financial reporting, tax and strategic planning, and transaction opinions (i.e., fairness, solvency, and capital adequacy). As part of his duties, Grant regularly advises hedge funds, private equity groups, and ’40 Act funds on the value of their illiquid assets. Prior to joining Houlihan Capital, Grant worked in the Tax Services practice of Duff & Phelps. Grant holds a Master of Arts in Economics degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Missouri. He is a CFA® charterholder.
