Joseph Lemieux, Jr. is a Principal at Heritage Capital Group, Inc., a middle-market investment banking firm headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. His primary focus is Aerospace & Defense merger & acquisitions and strategic consulting assignments for clients. Joseph leads both sell-side and buy-side assignments for clients seeking to sell or grow their businesses as well as strategic consulting to drive value, create moat and increase profitability in their businesses. Joseph has over 27 years of leadership and management experience in the A&D industries, in both private and public companies. After he began his career in business development at Teleflex Inc. in 1997, his role expanded to include a focus on lean manufacturing and continuous improvement to drive efficiencies and increase profit as part of an acquisition by Crane Aerospace & Electronics in 1999. In 2004, Joseph combined his background in business development and expertise in operational excellence at two large public companies by cofounding Aero-Hose, Corp., a niche value-added manufacturing company focused on fluid conveyance assemblies with a balanced customer base across the commercial, military, and space markets. After 15 consecutive years of growth, Joseph facilitated the strategic acquisition of Aero-Hose, Corp. by Marmon Holdings, LLC, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, in 2019. Joseph remained as president to facilitate the integration and drive strategic growth through 2023. Joseph earned a BA degree from Westfield State University and an MBA from the University of North Florida in addition to specialized trainings at the University of Notre Dame, the University of Chicago, and the University of Michigan. He has also held numerous board positions for academic, athletic, and nonprofit organizations.
