Paul has over 25 years of transaction experience as an investment banker, attorney and business development executive. He joined Hennepin Partners in 2020 after eight years as a Managing Director at Cascadia Capital. At Cascadia, Paul focused on software companies whose products are used in the legal, tax, public safety, compliance, and human resource sectors. Counterparties with which Paul has worked include Thomson Reuters (NYSE: TRI), Nuance Communications (Nasdaq: NUAN), West Corporation, Nice Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE), Providence Equity, Thompson Street Capital Partners, Polaris Partners and Primus Capital. Prior to Cascadia, Paul was a Managing Director at Marks Baughan, Vice President of Business Development & Strategy at Thomson Reuters, and a senior investment banker at RBC Capital Markets. Earlier in his career, Paul practiced M&A law at Stinson (Minneapolis) and Freshfields (London). Paul is a graduate of Amherst College and the University of Virginia (J.D.).
