David heads up our public sector and internal audit team. He has over 25 years of audit and performance improvement experience, which is complimented by his experience in risk management, fraud prevention and programme management. David has extensive experience in working with internal audit clients across the full spectrum of public sector and not for profit bodies in Scotland. David has a specific focus on providing high quality audit services to a wide portfolio of public sector and commercial bodies. He is involved in planning and managing the audit appointments and reporting on all aspects of governance. He has specific experience in helping clients to deliver efficiency savings and in conducting strategic reviews of governance arrangements. The depth and breadth of David’s experience allows him to work across traditional internal audit boundaries. This is particularly useful in the current economic climate where partnership working is increasingly required to deliver strategic goals.
