Bio

Ashley Van der Waag is a managing director and the chief compliance officer of Harris Williams. She leads the strategic initiatives of our compliance, operating support staff, marketing, and business optimization teams. She is focused on creating efficiencies and differentiation across the firm and continuing to drive Harris Williams forward as a world-class M&A advisory firm. Prior to joining Harris Williams in 2018, Ashley spent nearly 20 years at Credit Suisse, which included serving as the chief operating officer of global markets research. Ashley is based in our Richmond office. B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia with concentrations in Finance and Marketing.
