Bio

Mr. Bain is a managing director in Harris Williams’ Consumer Group covering the consumer services, food and beverage, consumer products, and retail/restaurant sub-sectors. He is based in the firm’s London office and has more than 16 years of experience advising public and private companies on M&A and capital raising assignments. Prior to joining Harris Williams in 2016, Mr. Bain worked at Canaccord Genuity (formerly Hawkpoint) in London where he completed over 50 transactions over a 10 year period. Prior to that he worked at Ernst & Young. Mr. Bain is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) and received a BSc from The University of Bristol. He is a trustee of a UK charity called “A Good Dinner”, which aims to raise money to help those in need of food and water around the world.
