Bio

Mr. Porter co-heads the Healthcare & Life Sciences Group. During his investment banking career, he has advised clients on a variety of assignments and has executed transactions in healthcare segments including ancillary services, alternate site care, behavioral health, and healthcare information technology. Prior to joining Harris Williams in 2000, Mr. Porter was an investment banking Associate with Merrill Lynch & Co. and was an associate director of Research at the Advisory Board Company, a healthcare-focused consulting firm. Mr. Porter earned an M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia and a B.S. in Business Administration with Special Attainments in Commerce at Washington and Lee University.
