Carolyn Mathis Bio

Carolyn has parlayed her more than 20 years of investment banking experience into helping entrepreneurs prepare for market, evaluate strategic alternatives, and navigate every step of a sale or capital raise. She leads Harbor View’s sell-side practice, where most of her work hinges on bringing together the right people—whether that means connecting clients with key partners or serving as a matchmaker between sellers and buyers. Prior to founding Harbor View, Carolyn worked in the investment banking and equities divisions of Goldman Sachs, as well as at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette. She has international experience from residing and working with clients in Europe and the UK. Carolyn received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dickinson College and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Chicago. She holds her Series 7, Series 63, Series 24 and Series 28 licenses. Outside of Harbor View, Carolyn is on the Executive Committee and past Chair of the Florida Venture Forum Board and sits on the board for both the Beaches Habitat for Humanity and the Sontag Foundation. She enjoys travel with her family, tennis and challenging her latest long-distance run.
