Mike Tierney is an Executive Director in the Chicago office of H2C Securities. Mr. Tierney brings over ten years of experience in healthcare banking, primarily working with not-for-profit hospitals and health systems. At H2C, Mr. Tierney provides advisory services to healthcare clients in connection with strategic initiatives, joint ventures, partnership strategies, mergers and acquisitions, and capital raising activities. A Midwest native, Mr. Tierney works throughout the country developing detailed, strategic solutions and providing transaction execution services to leading organizations. Throughout his career, Mr. Tierney has contributed to numerous publications on healthcare-related topics, including most recently HFMA, Governance Institute, Bloomberg, and GlobeSt.com. Before joining H2C, Mr. Tierney worked in the healthcare groups at BMO Capital Markets and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, focusing primarily on capital solutions for not-for-profit healthcare systems. Mr. Tierney received an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and earned his B.A. in Finance from Michigan State University.
