Scott leads GulfStar Group’s Consumer Products & Services Practice. He joined GulfStar in 2010 and brings over 29 years of experience advising clients across a broad range of public and private equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions and strategic advisory assignments – successfully closing over 100 transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $20 billion. Prior to joining GulfStar, Scott led the packaged food and beverage coverage group at BMO Capital Markets in Chicago, representing leading large-cap and upper middle-market food and beverage companies across a variety of domestic and international strategic initiatives. A native of the Silicon Valley, Scott began his career in the technology group at Cowen & Company in San Francisco, advancing to hold senior positions in the TMT (software, semiconductors and storage hardware) industry group at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Scott earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of California, Davis.
