Mark Van Lith is CEO of Guggenheim Securities and a member of the Management Committee of Guggenheim Partners. Mr. Van Lith joined Guggenheim Securities in October 2009 to build the Firm’s Investment Bank. Prior to joining Guggenheim Securities, he was the Co-Head of Media Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan (which he joined following J.P. Morgan’s acquisition of Bear Stearns). Previously, he was Head of Media Investment Banking at Bear Stearns. Mr. Van Lith graduated with a B.S. from Brandeis University where he was a Wien Scholar in 1990. During 30 years on Wall Street, Mr. Van Lith has advised a wide variety of domestic and international clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs/split-offs, restructurings, recapitalizations, leveraged buyouts, takeover defense, proxy contests, and capital raising.
