Ozzie Macedo Bio

As Chief Operating Officer, Ozzie is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the company. He brings over 20 years of experience in maintaining IT infrastructures and overall operations management. Ozzie is tasked with ensuring all systems, resources, and people are in place to achieve the company’s goals. He works closely with third-party IT vendors in assessing and implementing the firm’s IT strategy, including the implementation of cyber security protocols. Ozzie is also part of the team responsible for recruiting and hiring staff at Greif & Co. As COO, he works directly with the CEO and CFO/CPO supporting the firm’s personnel. Ozzie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). In giving back to his community, Ozzie is a member of the Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee for the Downey Unified School District. He is also the Director of Coaching for a competitive youth soccer club and currently holds a United States Soccer Federation ‘B’ license.
