Bio

Mr. Mayer joined Greenhill in 2016. He leads Greenhill’s business in Canada and is a member of the Firm’s Management Committee. Prior to joining Greenhill, Steve was a Managing Director and Head of Canadian Diversified Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs for over 10 years. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director and Head of Communications, Media & Technology at Scotiabank. Prior to that he was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley. Steve holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce and Finance from the University of Toronto.
