Bio

Mr. Benipal joined Greenhill in 2018. He principally advises clients in the energy sector with a focus on E&P. He also leads the A&D advisory for upstream clients. Prior to joining Greenhill, Jeet worked in the Energy group at Lazard where he advised leading public and private E&P clients on strategic advisory, M&A, A&D, restructuring and private capital raise transactions. Prior to that, he held multiple leadership roles at Venoco, Occidental Petroleum and Shell Oil. Jeet holds an MS in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from UCLA.
