John Cristiano is a partner with Grant Thornton’s Transaction Advisory Services. He is a highly skilled senior financial executive and team leader with nearly 20 years of experience analyzing companies and industries and delivering value-added, actionable advice to clients to help them make more informed business decisions. Cristiano has completed over 80 M&A due diligence engagements exceeding $16 billion in transaction value for private equity and strategic corporate clients across a spectrum of industries, including financial services, technology/media, manufacturing, and aerospace and defense. He has extensive experience in buy- and sell-side financial due diligence, performance analysis and improvement, forecasting and modeling, and enterprise valuation. Before joining Grant Thornton, Christiano was a managing director of corporate finance with FTI Consulting. Earlier, he was an equity analyst with UBS Investment Bank, Robertson Stephens and Prudential Securities. He began his career at Ernst & Young.
