Jeffrey Honeycutt is an Audit Services partner in Grant Thornton’s Carolinas offices in the Mid-South market territory, and has been in public accounting for more than 14 years. Based in Charlotte, he has served a wide array of public and private companies, primarily in the financial institution and financial services industries. He has extensive experience with FDIC-assisted transactions and distressed portfolios, as well as SEC securities offerings and private placements. He has consulted extensively in M&As, recapitalizations, and other financing transactions, performing acquisition and disposition due diligence, cost accounting projects, and operational and productivity improvement projects. Honeycutt has served as the lead partner on several public filers and specialized finance enterprises, as well as investment companies and investment partnerships. Honeycutt is a frequent instructor on topics including technical accounting matters, public reporting issues and other current auditing topics.
