Jeffrey Strassman Bio

Jeff is Grant Thornton’s leader in Boston and an audit partner with the firm. Relying on his wealth of industry knowledge and client service experience, he helps audit, tax and advisory professionals throughout Grant Thornton’s Boston office deliver high-quality, personalized services. He was previously the firm’s Manufacturing and Distribution industry leader in Boston, and he has served a variety of clients in industries like life sciences, healthcare and services. He has significant experience working with multi-national SEC-registrants and private companies, including private-equity backed enterprises. Jeff's broad experience also includes IPOs and secondary offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and operational and financial process/control improvements. He has also developed and presented white papers, trainings and seminars on the technical and operational impacts of ASC 606 (revenue recognition). In this role, Jeff also advised companies on the implementation of the standard. He previously served within the firm’s professional standards group.
