Jon Glapa Bio

Jon Glapa, Managing Director, initially joined Grace Matthews in 2011. Jon has experience leading a variety of transactions for clients throughout the chemical and materials value chain, including privately held businesses, large corporations undergoing complex carve-outs of business units and/or product lines, and private equity-backed businesses seeking to transition to their next ownership phase. Jon has worked with companies in the colorants, coatings, adhesives, agricultural, bio-materials, chemical distribution, contract packaging/custom manufacturing, plastics, and energy markets, among others. Jon received an M.B.A., with honors, from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. During his time at business school, Jon interned at a Chicago private equity fund. Jon also holds a B.A. in Mathematics as well as a Secondary Field degree in Economics from Harvard University. At Harvard, Jon was a member of the Charles River Growth Fund, the college’s oldest student-run investment club.
