Eric Sabelhaus Bio

Eric Sabelhaus, Managing Director, has more than 10 years of investment banking experience, advising clients globally on mergers, acquisitions, business sales, corporate carve-outs, and technology acquisitions. A mechanical engineer, Eric began his career at GE Energy, where he held a number of design and services engineering roles, authored a patent, and completed the Edison Engineering Development Program, receiving the Outstanding Edison Award. Eric specializes in a variety of chemicals, materials science and ingredients sectors, including water treatment, lubricants, petrochemicals and derivatives, plastics, coatings & resins, food ingredients, nutraceuticals, and distribution. Prior to joining Grace Matthews, Eric worked as an investment banker at Robert W. Baird. Eric, originally from Cincinnati, received an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, with Honors, from the University of Notre Dame, where he was a member of the Pi Tau Sigma Mechanical Engineering Honor Society.
