Andrew Cardona, Director, joined Grace Matthews, from Prudential Capital Group in Chicago. At Prudential, Andrew worked in both the international corporate finance group, investing in companies based in Mediterranean Europe, Latin America and Australia, as well as the corporate workout group, managing troubled investments and investing in distressed securities. At Grace Matthews, Andrew assists in buy-side and sell-side transactions, supporting clients in a variety of chemical sectors. He is especially skilled at the complexities surrounding corporate carve-out transactions, as well as leveraged deals. Andrew is also responsible for Grace Matthews analyst recruiting and training programs. Andrew received a B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with an emphasis in finance and investment banking. At Madison, Andrew, a varsity soccer player, received the UW Student-Athlete Academic Excellence Award, the Arthur Ashe Jr. Award, a National Academic Award for Scholar Athletes, and was selected as an academic All-Big 10 honoree.
