Bio

Vaclav Matatko is a Managing Director in the goetzpartners office in Prague. Mr Matatko has 20 years of experience in investment banking. He has managed numerous transactions in the evolution of the media and telecommunications markets in the CEE, mainly in consolidation of the Czech cable market and in the privatization of the telecommunications in the CEE. He is currently primarily responsible for the activities of goetzpartners in the Czech Republic, but he also provides support to other goetzpartners offices in services to clients in the CEE. Before joining goetzpartners, Mr Matatko worked for Supraphon, the largest Czech Republic music publishing house, for 16 years - and his last years there he served as its Vice President. He is a graduate of the Prague School of Economics. He also studied Foreign Trade at the Charles University in Prague.
