Jan joined Gleacher Shacklock in 2016 to lead the firm’s Metals & Mining practice. Previously, Jan was Global Head of Société Générale’s Metals & Mining corporate finance practice, a business that he established and grew to become number 1 in the EMEA league tables and number 4 globally. Prior to Société Générale, Jan Sanders was at HSBC for 10 years, latterly as global head of Resources & Energy advisory. Over his career, Jan has advised on some of the landmark transactions in the Metals & Mining space, as well as many smaller deals, both public and private, and capital raisings.
