Dorian joined Gleacher Shacklock in March 2009 to lead the Restructuring Group, having worked previously at One East Partners, LP, a New York-based hedge fund with $2bn under management, where he was a partner managing the firm’s private investment portfolio in New York and London. From 2004 to 2006, Dorian was a founding member of, and helped establish, Houlihan Lokey’s London-based European financial restructuring practice. Previously he had been a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s New York office and a corporate attorney at Cleary Gottlieb in New York. Dorian has over 24 years of restructuring, corporate finance and principal investing experience in Europe and the United States, and has extensive financial restructuring experience in many European jurisdictions as well as chapter 11 reorganisations in the United States. He has a MA in law from Oxford University and a LL.M. from Harvard Law School, and qualified as a barrister and a New York attorney-at-law.
