Sean Cannon is a Managing Director at GLC with over 14 years of investment banking experience. Mr. Cannon joined GLC in 2013 and has advised companies, creditors and sponsors on over $33 billion of transactions including restructurings, recapitalizations, financings, mergers and acquisitions across a range of industry sectors including healthcare, consumer, retail, gaming, media, telecom and tax-exempt finance. Examples of Mr. Cannon’s recent transactions include Carestream Health, Endo International, Great Lakes Senior Living, iHeartMedia, Healogics, Hertz, JCPenny, McClatchy, Stimwave Technologies, Toys R Us, and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, among others. Prior to joining GLC, Mr. Cannon worked at CRT Capital where he focused on investment banking advisory assignments across M&A and private capital raising. Prior to joining CRT, Mr. Cannon worked in the Transaction Services practice at KPMG where he focused on M&A advisory services. In 2023, Mr. Cannon received the 14th Annual Emerging Leaders Award by The M&A Advisor. The award recognizes professionals under 40 who have reached a significant level of success in their careers and made notable contributions to their industry and community. Mr. Cannon holds a BS in Finance from Lehigh University and holds FINRA Series 24, 50, 63, and 79 licenses.
