Justin Palmer is a Director of Genesis Capital. Justin has advised businesses and their shareholders as an investment banker and lender throughout his career. Justin focuses on working with companies to execute mergers and acquisitions, raise capital and advise on other strategic opportunities. Prior to joining Genesis Capital, Justin served clients at Mazzone & Associates, a boutique investment banking firm. At the firm, he worked on and closed several opportunities that included sell-side, buy-side and recapitalization transactions for middle market companies. He was focused on covering companies in the industrial and food & beverage industries. Justin also served as Vice President of Corporate and Business Development at Automated Systems Design, Inc. (ASD), where he sourced acquisition opportunities and led the Company’s business development team that increased both revenue and gross profit in his tenure. Justin began his career with Branch Banking & Trust Corporation (BB&T) and graduated from its prestigious Leadership Development Program. He succeeded in several roles, including serving on an ad-hoc merger integration team and was quickly promoted to Vice President with the bank. As a relationship manager in commercial banking Mr. Palmer served middle market commercial and industrial companies with financing and banking services. He underwrote and originated various credit facilities to support organic growth, mergers & acquisitions, recapitalizations, bond issuances and several other opportunities. Justin often consults with fast growing companies and entrepreneurs. He previously served on the Advisory Board of a leading distributor of specialty food ingredients. Justin is a very engaged and passionate leader in the community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta in DeKalb County and the Conservative Policy Leadership Institute, and he is a mentor for the Honors Program in the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University. Justin is also a former Board member of the Atlanta chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, where he most recently served as chairman of the Georgia Fast 40 Awards. Justin earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Georgia State University and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Georgia.
