Ahmad Behjati brings to Generational Equity more than 30 years of experience in business development, entrepreneurship, and corporate mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Generational Equity in 2012, Mr. Behjati was president of Behjati Capital Group, a New Canaan, Connecticut-based mergers-and-acquisitions firm, and president of B&B Holdings. His companies provided strategic planning services and advice to buyers and sellers of privately held, small- to medium-sized businesses through all phases of the M&A process. As a business owner, earlier in his career, Mr. Behjati enjoyed notable success in the hospitality industry and has been widely featured in major US media including USA Today, the San Francisco Chronicle, the San Francisco Examiner, CBS and NBC News. Mr. Behjati has been actively involved in philanthropic and community service throughout his life with organizations including the Wheelchair Foundation, the New York City Ballet, the Berkeley Convention & Visitors Bureau, Berkeley Chamber of Commerce, and the Loan Commission for the City of Berkeley. Mr. Behjati studied economics and computer science at San Francisco State University. His continuing education includes studies in union contracts, employment law, human resources, conflict resolution, real estate, and accounting.
