Bio

Joshua Wepman is a Managing Director with GCA covering Digital Media and Software companies. Josh has over 20 years of experience advising clients in the digital media and software sectors. During his career, Josh has worked with businesses across the North American and European technology landscape in areas such as video, communications infrastructure, OTT, digital advertising, content, data & analytics, enterprise software, internet infrastructure, security, eCommerce and marketing technology & services. Prior to GCA, Josh was a member of the Technology, Media & Telecom group at Jefferies & Company in Boston where he worked with software and internet clients on M&A and strategic advisory assignments, as well as public and private financings. Before his career in investment banking, Josh worked in the business development group at AOL and as a corporate attorney in New York City. Over the course of his investment banking career, Josh’s software and digital media clients have included Maven Networks, MapInfo, Blucora, Operative, Bazaarvoice, VideoPlaza, Collective Bias, and SourceFire. He has completed transactions with industry leaders such as Google, Yahoo, Pitney Bowes, Telstra, and Snap, among others. Josh received an AB in Political Science from Tufts University and a JD, cum laude, from Boston College Law School. Josh is also a Founding Executive Committee Member of FirstGrowth Venture Network, a consortium of venture funds, angel investors and senior tech executives providing a mentoring program for high potential early stage tech companies, as well as on the Board of Trustees of the Little School of Scarsdale.
