Charlie Stocks is a Managing Director based in GCA’s New York office with 24 years of investment banking and corporate development experience. He focuses on tech-enabled services and software M&A. Prior to GCA, Charlie provided M&A advisory services for the Tech-Enabled Services sector, focusing on IT, Legal and Insurance outsourcing; Marketing and Media services; and Data and Information companies at Jefferies. His experience also includes roles at Reuters and Goldman Sachs. Over the course of his career, Charlie has advised companies, boards and special committees on acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, LBOs, mergers, raid defense, sale, strategic alternatives and take privates. While at Reuters, he led the formation of a JV with the Times of India Group for launching a cable news network in India. Charlie graduated from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics, with a concentration in Finance.
