Bio

Yoshi is an Executive Director at GCA. As a career investment banker with more than 20 years’ experience advising corporates and financial sponsors across the globe on M&A, equity capital markets and leveraged finance transactions, Yoshi has a track record of executing deals exceeding a total of $50B in M&A and $30B in equity and leveraged financing. He has extensive expertise in cross-border M&A, having executed transactions in Japan, other Asian countries, Europe and the US in a wide range of industry sectors. Prior to joining GCA, Yoshi founded Terralink Advisors, a boutique M&A firm focused on Japanese-related cross-border M&A and corporate finance advisory services. Before Terralink, he was with Citigroup, primarily responsible for cross-border M&A deals. Yoshi started his career at SBC Warburg (UBS) having worked in both Tokyo and New York offices. Yoshi also held a position at Musashi Seimitsu Industries as an Advisor to the CEO from 2015 to 2016. Yoshi is a graduate of Keio University with a B.S. in Applied Chemistry.
