Sunil Mehra is a Managing Director in our Mumbai office. He has over 20 years of experience in M&A, private equity, and corporate finance across the Healthcare/Pharmaceuticals, Industrials, Consumer, Chemicals and Commodities sectors. Prior to joining GCA, Sunil was responsible for the Mumbai operations at MAPE advisory, a domestic mid-market boutique advisory firm. He was earlier with Standard Chartered as a Managing Director driving the India M&A business and with Merrill Lynch where he led coverage efforts for large Indian conglomerates and subsequently headed the healthcare sector coverage. His key clients include leading Indian generic pharmaceutical players and companies in the manufacturing, capital goods, and cement sectors. He has also worked extensively with companies that are part of leading Indian conglomerate groups. Sunil holds a BTech from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science(BITS), Pilani and an M.B.A from the Indian Institute of Management(IIM), Bangalore.
