Sameer Jindal is a Managing Director at GCA and is the Head of India Operations. Sameer’s focus is on providing investment banking solutions involving M&A, strategic advisory and capital raising to public, private and listed companies and other stakeholders in India. Sameer also focuses heavily on mergers & acquisitions and has over 15 years of experience working in the U.S., Japan, and India on a broad range of complex cross-border merger transactions. Prior to moving to GCA’s Mumbai Office in 2013, Sameer served as an M&A generalist in GCA’s San Francisco office for five years. Before joining GCA in 2008, Sameer worked in the M&A group at JPMorgan in San Francisco. While there, he executed several transactions across a broad range of industries including Technology, Media and Telecom, Consumer and Healthcare. Sameer also served in the Technology M&A groups at Credit Suisse First Boston and Thomas Weisel Partners. His clients have included Amkor, Asahi Kasei, Fastclick, Hitachi, i2 Technologies, Internap, MarketLeader, Olympus, ON Semiconductor, Panasonic, and Tessera. Before entering investment banking, Sameer worked at Qualcomm as a Software Engineer focused on designing complex wireless communication systems. He earned a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
