Prior to joining GCA Altium in 2003, Alex was Managing Director of Marchfifteen, Austria’s leading new media and technology fund, which he co-founded after working as the Managing Director of the Austrian branch of Chiquita P.G.D. Alex has 20 years of corporate finance and capital markets experience. His focus is on M&A and the PE industry and he has particularly strong expertise in the areas of digital, media, internet, technology, telecommunications, retail and consumer goods. Alex is a member of the steering committee of digitalswitzerland, a cross-industry association whose aim is to strengthen the country‘s position as a digital hub. He is also a Chairman of the Mary Bendet Foundation. Alex is a graduate of the Wirtschaftsuniversität Vienna and Boston University and holds a B.A. in Economics.
