Garland McPherson has provided corporate finance and investment banking services to middle market and large corporate clients for over a dozen years. He founded Garland McPherson and Associates, Inc. ("GM&A") on the principle that these clients can receive quality, value added service at a reasonable price. Prior to founding GM&A, Garland was a commercial lending officer for both regional and national banking companies for over 20 years, as well as an officer of the State of Maryland's MIDFA (Maryland Industrial Development Financing Authority) organization. In addition to his business activities, Garland is active in the not for profit sector, most recently being named the Chairman and President of United Presbyterian Ministries of Maryland, Inc., which provides low income housing for the elderly primarily in the city of Baltimore.
