Mr. Morrissey has developed or reviewed over 400 business valuation conclusions and financial analyses for estate tax planning, employee stock ownership plans, ownership transfer strategies, stock options, buy/sell agreements, mergers, acquisitions, recapitalizations, leveraged buyouts, and asset protection planning purposes. The equity valuations have included common stock, preferred stock, member interests, limited partnership interests, and general partnership interests. He earned the ABV, Accredited in Business Valuation, designation by the American Institute of CPAs, and holds a Certified Public Accountant certificate from Pennsylvania. Mr. Morrissey holds a Master of Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Indiana University. He authored the AICPA course manual on business valuation research to develop supportable opinions of value.
