Evie has been the Group General Counsel and Head of the Legal and Governance Group since March 2022. Evie is a lawyer with nearly 30 years’ practice and management experience, across ANZ, Asia and the US, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and the financial services sector. Prior to joining Macquarie in 2022, Evie worked for King and Wood Mallesons where she led the law firm’s extensive global engagement with Macquarie’s businesses for a number of years. Evie is a member of Corporations Committee of the Law Council of Australia, Law Society of New South Wales, and State Bar of New York. Evie is also a member of the Macquarie Group Foundation Committee.
