Doug Freyschlag, a Director at The Forbes M+A Group, brings a unique perspective to transactions from both sides of the table. He works engagements on behalf of sellers seeking to sell or recapitalize their businesses, as well as buyers seeking acquisitions. As a former company owner himself, Doug understands the concerns of private company owners who decide to sell. His advisory skills blend extensive entrepreneurial experience with years of investment banking practice. Doug came to Forbes with strong buy-side experience with his own firm where he identified and secured unique business opportunities for his clients. Doug’s industry expertise in M&A ranges from manufacturing to distribution to business services. Prior to his M&A work, Doug built several unique companies including a publishing/marketing company with clients in over 200 U.S markets and a resort real estate company with projects in many of Colorado’s ski markets. Doug began his career as a GM for television systems for a Time Warner company and has held key management roles with several Fortune 1000 companies. His broad business background gives him an excellent perspective on a range of industries.
