Prior to Forbes, Dan’s transaction professional career included senior positions at IBG Business Group (former President and Managing Director), Eureka Capital Markets (co-founder), RSM McGladrey Capital Markets, and Arthur Andersen. As an entrepreneur, Dan co-founded AccentCare (venture-backed, post-acute, home health and hospice platform sold to Oak Hill Capital Partners), Aura (FinTech software acquired by SWIFT), and Diamond Data Corporation (accounting software and VAR). As a business leader, Dan orchestrated M&A and a number of other critical strategic initiatives for McDonnell Douglas Information Systems International (global software and data business), Systems Management Specialists (IT outsourcing/data center business acquired by Marconi), Apria Healthcare (home respiratory services and medical equipment). He also served as interim CEO of two electronics companies. Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife Shawn in the Colorado mountains, camping, hiking, biking, running, golfing, playing tennis, exploring new restaurants, and traveling. In his free time, he enjoys mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs, public speaking, and developing software.
