Dan Pellegrino is a Partner and Managing Director at Forbes Partners, where he specializes in technology, including software as a service (SaaS), high-tech manufacturing, and tech-enabled services. With a career spanning over 25 years, Dan has built a solid reputation as an expert in advising companies on strategic growth initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, valuation, and transactional synergies. Dan’s extensive advisory work is predominantly focused on the middle market, where he has invaluable experience working on complex deals, including Pfizer’s $68 billion acquisition of Wyeth. In addition to his advisory work, Dan is an accomplished investor and entrepreneur. Dan founded multiple companies of which he was able to successfully exit two that were both sold to synergistic buyers. Dan’s experience as an operator, business owner, and consultant allows him to bring a unique perspective to the investment banking profession. Dan holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Notre Dame and a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from Baylor University. He also spent time studying European Business at EDHEC in Lille, France. Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, traveling, backpacking, skiing, fly-fishing, surfing, SCUBA diving, photography, and the culinary arts.
