Alex Williams Bio

Alex Williams, a FOCUS Principal, joined the firm in 2021 and is a member of the Advanced Manufacturing team. He is responsible for business development, deal origination and qualification, and execution on buy-side and sell-side engagements and transactions. Prior to joining FOCUS, Mr. Williams worked for a lower middle market investment bank leading buy-side advisory engagements and transactions on behalf of industrial technology-focused middle market private equity firms and their portfolio companies. Additionally, he has more than 11 years of international and domestic experience in business development, finance and strategy across a wide range of industries. Mr. Williams is registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) as an Investment Banking Representative (Series 79 and 63). Based in the Los Angeles Metro area, Mr. Williams received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and his MBA with a concentration in Finance and Strategy from the University of California, Irvine – Merage School of Business.
